Jak stuff

That's the money you could be saving with GEICO!

(note: Jak came in with the Mr. Potato Head eyes asking for money and I was perplexed until he put it all together and said "look mom! it's Geico! He couldn't have been more pleased with himself.)

Big boy.

Here's mom and dad trying to figure out how to make Jak's frying pan guitar a tape measure strap. All Jak's idea and more challenging than it might sound...

cutie pie.

Here's Jak rocking out. He's been talking about his future as a rock star recently.

He was singing "I like to move it move it"...

queue applause...

Kelan was born to be wild.

But sometimes you just have to fall asleep on your puppy in the middle of the cold tile floor.

Tombstone, AZ

We are only about a half hour from Tombstone, so we took a little trip yesterday. We got to watch a gunfight show and see all sorts of historic sites. Unfortunately a downed telephone line made using any credit/debit/ATM machines impossible, and we don't tend to carry a lot of cash, so we had to cut our trip short and miss out on some of the attractions. We headed to Bisbee for a late lunch, but of course the camera died so we don't have pictures of that trip (we're new fans of Bisbee- it's awesome). All in all, I guess it was a techno-challenged outing, but not to worry; now that we know it's all so easy to get to, we can go back to see more sites!

Kelan gave Jak the magician a ride.

Holding up their magic wands. Apparently Kelan's is a special invisible magic wand.

Bisbee, Arizona

Yesterday after church we decided to pack up and head down to Bisbee for a day of sightseeing and shopping. This place is so awesome. Jak said "Oh! We're at the Corvallis!" as soon as we turned down the first main Old Bisbee Road. It's very quaint and idealistic, while at the same time being very progressive and artistic. We look forward to visiting Bisbee more and seeing more of the sights, including the Bisbee Mine Tour, which Kai and I took about 6 years ago when we came to visit Craig at Fort Huachuca while he was in AIT. In the meantime, enjoy the pics!

We've been playing horsey a lot lately.

No WONDER my knees hurt!

Pima County Air & Space Museum

We decided to kick off Spring Break with a trip to the Pima Air and Space Museum. It was awesome and we all had a great time looking at all the planes!

We've tried to get Kelan to quit using his pubby so much recently, but see below for the response we get when we take it away from him...only usually with more tears...

Kelan loves Jak. Jak loves Kelan.

Hey, he asked for it. Here's Kai's dinner on Tuesday--spaghetti tacos. He totally dug them. The rest of us stuck with regular spaghetti.

Jak hearts straws.
