In addition to the renting the surrey bikes, Kai also got to go bungee bouncing for his bday. He had a blast!

Kelan usually gets his way

which means he gets to fall asleep on the floor in the hall at 10:47 on a school night...

and he gets the "big piece" of cantaloupe (don't worry, he spit the peel out). Life is good for our little tyrant Gremlin Kelan...When he turns three in November the "terrible two's" will end, right?

Just a lazy Saturday morning...

Our primary destination. Britt's donuts, open since 1939, and voted the #2 independent donut shop in the US. The donuts were eaten too quickly to get any pictures of. They put Krispy Kreme to shame!!

Kelan and Jak wanted to take a shower.

We hadn't explored the Boardwalk section of town yet, so we wandered around a bit.

Just Me

Kai, me, and Jak enjoying some morning beach time. I had originally wanted to get out of the house in time for the sunrise, but it proved to be a little too ambitious this morning...maybe tomorrow.

The boys were so disappointed Krazy Kones was closed.

Tuesday was the big day!! Jak's first day of preschool. He LOVES it!!

And Kelan is happy to have some alone time with Mommy! Car rides are eerily quiet and calm while Jak and Kai are at school...

Last weekend in the car on our way home from Georgia (where we had a great time), we gave into Kelan's persistent demands for lollipops...
