Twas the night before Christmas.... Jak writing a letter to Santa.
WOOHOO!!! Christmas Morning!!!

Kelan...silly...
Daddy rockin out on the Paper Jamz drum kit. In a moment you'll see why this toy will receive very little attention...
OH MY GOSH! A NEW SKATEBOARD?!?
You can try if you want, but you might never be as fly as Jak.

Papa and Gramma knocked it out of the ballpark...Udraw for the Wii. :)

Because we don't have enough matchbox cars in our house...

IRONMAN!!!
(I'm trying to match the enthusiasm of the morning by using all caps...)
A BATCAVE!!! Once again, Papa and Gramma... home run...
Kai taking his new bike out for a spin...pretty sweet...All in all a pretty awesome Christmas morning for the Slagowski boys...and then we asked them to take the wrapping paper onto the back porch....

...

...

Yep. A drum kit.

We'll call him "Animal".
Luckily, they all have a certain amount of natural rhythm... so it's not really all THAT bad.
Jak loves his mommy :)
Here we are making monkey bread. Jak did an awesome job cutting up the biscuits.
Tada!!

Ok, enough of that...let's head to the beach!!
Go Kelan Go!!
I don't know. Running just seemed like the thing to do.
Nothing like the beach with the family on Christmas...
:)
Kai.
He's such a little gremlin.
Driving in circles in the sand with his Ironman motorcycle.

More Kai.
Kai chasing Kelan.

Undoubtedly pondering chasing the seagulls...
More running.
Happy Jackson.
Sand angels.
Silly...
Kai chillin in a beach chair.
Kelan looks so sweet and innocent, doesn't he?

Every time we head to the boardwalk, we are woefully reminded that Britt's Donuts is closed for the season... Boo.
We love and miss all of our family and friends that we couldn't be with this holiday season. We are with you in spirit, and perhaps often on the phone, but nothing beats the real deal and we hope to spend some good quality family time with all of you as soon as humanly possible. Merry Christmas to you all!!!

Kelan rocks. Here playing the Wii guitar to Spongebob's "We are the Champions"... left-handed even...
Snowflake party!! I honed my snowflake cutting skills as the boys honed their ability to put glitter in places it could not be removed from for weeks...
Jak being utterly artistic with glitter...
Making such beautiful snowflakes to hang in the window.
Such concentration.
Did I mention the glitter mess? Still finding glitter on the table, in my hair, on our clothes. But hey, it's good to be sparkly.

The back yard of the White House...gorgeous.
LOVE the Smithsonian...
Craig and I in front of the White House.
Why, hello Washington Monument!
Back lawn.
Pondering where to have dinner...
Malcolm Grow Medical Center...a place I spent a lot of time at as a 10 year old dealing with JRA. I missed my mommy when I drove by this place...

I was so excited to see this exit sign...memories...
We lived on Andrews AFB for 18 months or so when I was 9-10 years old...
Thought it would be fun to go by the old house to see where the magic happened...turned out it was condemned, ready to be torn down. Front door wide open and a total moldy mess inside...Didn't do much to rekindle childhood memories...
Here, I might be just on the verge of a panic attack- NOT AT ALL what I expected going back to a place I recalled as a child...
