We started today out really early- 3:00 am to be exact, when Jak fell out of bed and woke us all up. We got on the road at 5:00 am and listened to the news about Ike and bad weather all around us. We noticed that our route was saturated with flash flood warnings and driving looked like this...

Here's Kansas City. Beautiful old buildings. Around here, we changed our route to get out of the rain...

We made it to Oregon!

Here we are in Bellevue, Nebraska, paying a toll to drive through their town...

Finally, we stopped driving in Kearney Nebraska, and Jak and Kelan were thrilled.
