Riverfest is the second-largest festival in Wilmington each year. It attracts over 100,000 people each year to come see the pirates, eat funnel cake and learn about Wilmington history.

Here is a reenactment of a sword fight. The Battleship North Carolina is in the background.
Jak calls the battleship his great-grandpa's boat. This is literally right across the street from Craig's work.
Jak loves pizza.
Kai and Jak being friendly to pirates.
Apparently he had a call to make.
Of COURSE, they had to sit in the fire truck...

These girls were clogging to Usher's hit single "Yeah". Um, yeah.
Couldn't get any great pictures of the whole thing, but here's Jak and Kai playing in a "Crooked House". They love the Crooked Houses.

Handsome Kai. Tired Jak. All that walking and heat took it out of us! Next year when Daddy's with us, we really hope to stick around for the fireworks and Lighted Pirate Boat Parade.
